Chronolife launches its new offering integrating Garmin wearables to improve at-risk individuals’ health and well-being

Paris / France, April 18th, 2023 – Chronolife, a digital health services operator specialized in continuous, real-life and multiparametric monitoring of patients and people at-risk, announces the availability of its combined offer with Garmin, a leading global provider of smartwatches, fitness trackers and digital health solutions .

Smart Textile (CE)1, Chronolife’s turnkey service dedicated to the evaluation and improvement of an individual’s health and well-being, based on its connected t-shirt that tracks multiple physiological data points, is now integrated with several Garmin smartwatches and wearables, such as the vívosmart® 5, Venu® series or the Forerunner® series.

Dedicated to helping corporations improve their employees’ wellness or at-risk workers safety (isolated, in dangerous situations), this offer from Chronolife is also intended for research laboratories in the context of work requiring the collection of multiple physiological data. The offer is based on a 6 or 12 months renewal subscription to Chronolife Smart Textile solution, giving access to preferential rates on the deployed service and on select Garmin smartwatches (Click here to learn more about the offer).

The combination of these two wearables provides multiple and complementary data and health indicators allowing a full overview of an individual’s physiological status2. As part of this offer, Smart Textile provides data related to cardiology (electrocardiogram, heart rate, heart rate variability, QT interval length, detection of bradycardia or tachycardia, etc.), respiratory (thoracic and abdominal respirations, breathing rate, etc.), or temperature (average skin temperature), and Garmin connected smartwatches provide data on sleep (number of hours of sleep, sleep classifications, etc.), stress or blood oxygen saturation3.

Reconciled in a single web interface, the data can be downloaded in universal format. The users also benefit from the ability to download detailed PDF reports – daily, weekly or monthly, integrating data collected with the Chronolife Smart Textile as well as the Garmin wearable.

The Chronolife / Garmin offer is already available in France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The two companies will present their joint offer at the VITALIS trade show, a major event in digital health in Scandinavian countries, taking place from May 22 to 25, 2023.

“We are very excited to integrate Garmin watches as part of preventive care and wellness service offering. The combination of Chronolife Smart Textile and Garmin wearables will greatly enhance the tracking of individuals physiological data and thus improve their daily lives” said Laurent Vandebrouck, CEO of Chronolife.

“Indeed, we are convinced of the potential and benefits of such an alliance. The data provided by our wearables will complement those provided by Chronolife’s devices, allowing a full overview of individuals physiological status for many use cases and ease of use,” replied Jörn Watzke, Senior Director at Garmin Health.
