Chronolife launches its first Nexkin solution
Paris (France), November 25, 2019 – Chronolife, an artificial intelligence company specialising in digital health, announces the official launch of Nexkin.
Following a successful funding round last summer, Chronolife is launching Nexkin, its first service focused on risk reduction and prevention programs. The Nexkin technology combines a comfortable, machine-washable smart T-Shirt with a smartphone app that collects and transfers the following physiological data and measurements to secure and certified health data servers:
• Abdominal breathing
• Thoracic breathing
• Body temperature
• Physical actvity
• Pulmonary impedance
Nexkin will allow:
• Pharmaceutical companies to test and validate the solution with a view to future use in their clinical trials and therapeutic efficiency programs, prior to the release of a class IIa medical device certified tele-monitoring solution for the health sector (following the launch of Nexkin),
• Insurance companies to develop, launch and run home-based telecare services aimed at risk reduction and prevention for elderly or vulnerable people,
• Healthcare organizations and professionals specializing in intensive sport and return to sport to enhance their coaching and prevention strategies relating to the training and monitoring of high level athletes.
Chronolife is a MedTech, ISO 13485, and a Digital Health Service Operator with a proprietary and patented data fusion algorithm known as HOTS (Hierarchy of Event-based Time-Surfaces). Chronolife develops innovative mobile medical technologies, enabling the quasi real-time monitoring of multiple physiological parameters, without impacting the everyday life of users and patients.
Created in 2015, the company complies with the quality, security and confidentiality requirements of the healthcare sector which includes using accredited health data hosting servers.
Co-founded with IBionext, Chronolife is an artificial intelligence company specialized in digital health. Its patented technology is a unique neuromorphic algorithm called HOTS (Hierarchy Of event-based Time Surfaces), which analyses several data flows continuously, to characterize clinical events. Chronolife has developed a smart wearable that integrates various sensors to monitor physiological data continuously. This data is analyzed by the smartphone application on a patient’s phone that uses HOTS technology to conduct data fusion. It is capable of detecting changes in a patient’s health and triggering alerts to healthcare professionals to predict acute pathological episodes.
