What about this product?
Wearable medical device (CE Class IIb*1) designed to remotely monitor and predict Worsening Heart Failure by leveraging Chronolife’s powerful algorithm technology HOTS (Hiearchy Of event-based Time-Surfaces). It does this through the collection of multiple physiological signals using the smart wearable and the analysis of this data through HOTS on the companion smartphone application.
The T-shirt has fully embedded sensors that record 6 physiological parameters that are clinically relevant for the assessment of cardiovascular and respiratory status. The T-shirt is designed to be used as a daily garment and is fully washable. It also includes a non-removable rechargeable battery, a memory card and a Bluetooth interface. All electronic components have been sealed in water-resistant coatings.

Challenges we answer to
Heart failure is a global pandemic affecting at least 26 million people worldwide: Our solution intends to adress the challenges faced by healthcare professionals & patients. The global economic burden of Heart Failure is estimated at $108 billion annually, where Europe accounts for 6.83% and the US for 28.4% of the total*2. With our solution we aim to bring a paradigm shift in healthcare with the goal of improving quality of life, provide better care & reduce costs. Our aim is to accompany doctors & clinicians in a faster & more efficient decision making.
Advantages of the solution
How does it work
The T-shirt continuously collects data that is transferred to the smartphone over a simple Bluetooth connection. The multiple physiological data flow collected are directly analyzed by HOTS on the smartphone, without the need for computing on remote servers. HOTS will function to detect and predict an imminent decompensation event*3, alerting the patient and their physician via the smartphone application, with the appropriate recommendations. The data collected by the shirt is also transferred via the smartphone to a secure server where it is saved so patient’s history can be consulted by the healthcare professionals.
